History:
We bought Fayvor in 1985 from Don Herron & Sons in Leyden, Ma and we started testing for protein that fall. Fayvor near the end of her lactation consistently tested above 4% for protein. Little did we realize at that time the tremendous impact that she would have on our breeding and merchandising program. Fayvor had 13 daughters (9 EX, 4 VG) for us and the best records for herself and the daughters average 358d 2x 26,305 4.6% 1254 3.7% 967 with an average score of 89 points. With these daughters and her son Flip, 80% of our herd traces back to her at least once.

Pedigree:
Fayvor was sired by Round Oak Rag Apple Elevations (EX 96-GM). Her dam was by Paclamar Astronaut (EX-GM). The next dam was by Irvington Pride Admiral (EX-92-GM). Three of the greatest sires in all breed history - back to back! Her dam and dam's dam were never classified but both had over 115,000# milk in their lifetimes. The blood was there and blood will always tell - always.
